Business Analyst

Position Summary:

Gather important company data and compile it into reports used to drive financial results and support departmental managers in monitoring their expenses. Working on multiple projects simultaneously and translating business data into summarized information that improves processes.



  • Updating financial information for multiple projects daily
  • Gather information and report on Non-Productive labor on a weekly basis
  • Support incoming Purchase Order processing and project invoicing
  • Assist departmental leads in developing and maintaining forecasts for each active project
  • Develop and maintain new financial models to improve current processes
  • Identify business trends utilizing real data, compile analysis reports that are delivered to developers and then follow-up on all results
  • Prepare various ad-hoc financial analyses and projects

Experience / Skills:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience with financial planning, accounting and/or finance
  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a major in Finance, Economics, Business or Accounting preferred
  • Advanced analytical abilities, financial modeling and strong Microsoft Excel
  • Strong business modeling skills
  • Ability to provide strategic insight through use of financial metrics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
  • Detail-oriented and solid organizational skills
  • High level of curiosity, self-motivation and multitasking
  • A high sense of urgency, ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines
